okay so I have become a juicing crazed fool this past year. It all started when I was buying it and not really eating it all because lets face it some foods are just nasty as hell and the ones that are .. well they are the best for you to eat.
So why not liquify it? I mean hell babies eat it and they are not jacked up right?
As you can see above I had some fresh cranberries, carrots, cut pineapples, pears and celery. Now my juicer can take the pineapple with the skin on it and everything I love that thing. I just decided to cut them this time since I needed some for a snack as well.
Anyway .. for those of you that are not sure what fruits and vegatables are good to start with here is a list that I combined on my facebook page a while ago and its what came in my Brevelle. They have a HUGE HUGE selection of recipes on the world wide web and i'm sure you can find more umm on your own.
Fresh Starts
1. Apple, Carrot and Celery Juice (4 small granny smith, 3 med size carrots peeled, 4 celery sticks)
2. Tomato, Celery, Carrot and Lime Juice (2 med tomatos, 1 large peeled carrot, 2 celery stalks trimmed and 1 lime peeled)
3. Apple, Peach and Grapefruit juice (1 small red apple, 2 large peaches halved and remove seeds, 2 peeled grapefruits)
4. Parsnip, celery and pear juice (2 parsnips trimmed, 2 sticks celery trimmed, and 4 medium pears stalks removed
Vitamin Boosters
1. Blueberry, blackberry, strawberry and lime juice (18oz blackberries, 18oz blueberries, 180z strawberries hulled, 1 lime peeled)
2. Cucumber, celery, fennel and bean sprout juice (1 large cucumber, 3 sticks celery, 1 bulb fennel trimmed, 2 cups bean sprouts)
3. Blackberry, pear and grapefruit juice (250g of blackberries, 3 ripe pears and 2 grapefruits peeled)
4. Frothie OJ (35oz of oranges peeled)
Icy Coolers
1. Tropical Blend (2 mangoes halved, seeded and peeled, 3 kiwi fruit peeled, 1/2 small pineapple peeled and halved, 1/2c fresh mint leaves and 1 cup crushed ice)
2. Pear, radish and celery crush (3 medium pears, 4 radishes trimmed, 3 sticks celery and 1 C crushed ice)
3. Rockmelon, strawberry and passion crush (1/2 rockmelon peeled, seeded and divided, 1 cup strawberries hulled, pulp of 2 passion fruit and 1 cup of crushed ice
Energy Fuel
1. Grape, kiwi fruit and berry booster (18oz seedless grapes, 2 peeled kiwi fruit, 8.25oz strawberries, 18 oz skim milk and 2 tblspoons of powdered protein drink)
